Starting a Safe Routes to School program is simple. Most of the work has already been done by other groups and is available on the internet. Follow these easy steps:
- Identify Safe Routes: we’ve already done this; you just need to find the right route
- Start a Walking School Bus
- Educate Children and Drivers
- Engage the School Administration, PTA and Local Authorities for Support
